Jon Bateman, the founder, Performance Nutritionist and Sport Scientist of the Endurance Academy.
Jon is a Registered Performance Nutritionist (SENR). He has an MREs in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Northumbria and a Post Graduate Diploma in Performance Nutrition from the Institute of Performance Nutrition (IOPN).
Jon is a Lecturer on the University of Sunderland’s BSc Sports Science program, teaching Nutrition and Metabolism. He is also a UK Anti-Doping Advisor and ISAK Level 1 Technician.

Sophie Marr is the lead Physiotherapist at the Endurance Academy.
Sophie is a Registered Physio (HCPC). She has an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Northumbria and brings a wealth of experience from professional football as well as 9 years in private practise.
Sophie runs the Sophie Marr Physiotherapy clinic here in Newcastle, which has gone from strength to strength, supporting both elite athletes and general population.
